It's been a while since I posted, but a lot of exciting opportunities have come my way recently and I thought I ought to share. One of the most exciting things is an exhibition I was invited to participate in at the Society of Arts and Crafts on Newbury Street in Boston, Massachusetts. The exhibition is a called From Minimal to Bling: Contemporary Studio Jewelry. It reviews a current set of top American jeweler's new work and I am honored to say my work from this summer is included. I am also excited (super excited, actually) that my work is featured on the signage for the gallery building and on the postcard for the exhibition. It is pretty incredible to see my work in print with such an important organization!
The show is open now and runs to January 11, 2014. If you are in Boston during that time I highly encourage you to go, it is a wonderful place to visit and see some remarkable handmade work.
So what are some of the other upcoming events? Holiday on the Square in Scranton, Pennsylvania is coming up fast. It should be a lot of fun and way to get your holiday shopping done in unique, handmade style. Take a look at the vendors here: http://scrantonmadeholiday.com/
Also, I have a solo exhibition scheduled at Marywood University's Suraci Gallery starting February 1st, 2014. The show is titled The Space Between Us Is Not Distance. I am taking a big leap and pushing myself to build a full installation space. Stay tuned for more details, but for now you can visit the gallery website for a brief summary of the exhibition. www.marywood.edu/galleries
